In 2001, with over 30 years of experience in the medical machining field, owner and president Richard Ingram created Ocular Technology Inc. Our small-scale company provides research and development, process development, contract manufacturing, and metrology services primarily for, but not limited to the ophthalmic and medical device industries. An increasing number of industries benefit from our years of experience working within tight micron level tolerances.
We comply with FDA standards QSR 21 CFR Part 820, and register with the state of California as a class III device manufacturer. Not all, but most of our clients require some form of compliance for their components or product. We are prepared to work with you at the level you require.
Our quality policy is, Complete Customer Satisfaction (CCS). Over the years, most of our clients have come to us through word of mouth. So without this policy and mindset going into each project, we would not be where we are today.
At Ocular Technology Inc. we take the quality control of your product very seriously.
We have multiple on site clean zones, and inspection rooms, and offer 100% inspections. All manufacturing rooms are clement controlled, our tools routinely calibrated, and our machines properly maintained. All jobs are kept separate to prevent contaminates, and all business is done under strict confidentiality.
We are positive that you will be impressed with the quality of our work, and efficiency of our processes, at FDA standards, if need be.
With our in-house tooling center, we are able to design and create the custom tooling, fixtures, and jigs necessary for your specific product. Every job has it’s own needs and challenges; not having to send portions of a job out cuts down on time and allows us maximum control over the process, from start to finish. Feel free to contact us about our tooling center services, there is no job too small.
As micro machining specialists, most of our work is done for the medical and optical industries, but we are able to handle most jobs. We commonly work with start up companies, large scale companies, universities, doctors, inventors, and engineers.
